The Savage Gear SG4 Vertical Specialist is a short vertical rod for fishing from a boat for zander, perch and other predators. Its sensitive, strong blank and fast action provide responsive lure control and the power to set the hook when bites are tentative.
This 198 cm model carries the M designation and a casting-weight rating of 7–24 g, giving you a defined range for choosing lure weight. At 108 g, the light, well-balanced rod supports controlled handling during vertical presentations.
The rod has two sections and a stated transport length of 164 cm. Check this packed length against your available storage space rather than assuming the sections are equal in length.
