The SG4 Vertical Specialist is a freshwater spinning rod developed for vertical fishing for zander and other predators. Its sensitive, strong blank and quick response help you control the lure, detect tentative bites and respond with a firm hook-set.
This 1.98 m model has XF (extra-fast) action and MMH power, listed as Medium | Medium Heavy. Its 12–33 g lure rating defines the weight range for choosing your presentation. The short length suits close, controlled vertical work rather than a rod chosen primarily for reach.
At 115 g, the light, well-balanced rod supports controlled handling during repeated lure movements. The two-section 1+1 construction has a transport length of 164 cm, so allow for that length when selecting storage or transport space.
