The Savage Gear Salmonoid CCS is a sea fishing rod for spinning with artificial lures for sea trout and sea bass. Its lightweight carbon blank and 139 g rod weight keep weight in the hand low during repeated casting and retrieving.
The rod measures 246 cm and is rated for casting weights of 7–23 g, giving you a clear range for lure selection. The specified action is Moderate Fast.
The durable blank uses Toray 46T Carbon and is described as fast and light. Deluxe cork grips provide the contact surface for holding and working the rod.
The two-piece construction reduces the 246 cm fishing length to a transport length of 134 cm. Allow for that length when choosing rod storage or transport space.
