It is intended for freshwater perch and trout using softbaits, crankbaits, spinners, spoons and twitchbaits within its 3–10 g casting range. Choose small lures within that range for perch jigging or trout spinning, rather than heavier lure work.
The tip is described as fast yet supple, paired with a sensitive Torayca 30T blank. This provides feedback from light lures and subtle bites while offering a forgiving response during the fight, making the rod accessible to ultra-light beginners as well as specialists.
Yes. The SeaGuide CCS guides have SiN inserts suitable for braid, and the supplier suggests thin braid with a fluorocarbon leader. No specific line diameter or breaking strain is provided, so that recommendation does not establish an exact line size.
The 2.21 m rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 116 cm. A competition-ready rod bag is included to protect the blank, so allow room for that packed length rather than the full assembled rod.

The Savage Gear Revenge SG4 UL Game is an ultra-light (UL) spinning rod for perch and trout in freshwater. Its Japanese Torayca 30T blank provides feedback for detecting subtle bites and controlling light lures. A fast yet supple tip combines sensitivity with a forgiving response when playing fish, helping to keep the hook in place.
The 2.21 m model has a 3–10 g casting range for small softbaits, crankbaits, spinners, spoons and twitchbaits. It suits perch jigging with small soft plastics and trout fishing with mini crankbaits or spinners. The blank transmits lure movements when working a micro jig along a current seam or twitching a minnow near the bank. Keep lure weights within the stated range rather than treating it as a general-purpose rod for heavier lures. Its length also suits confined stretches of rivers and streams.
SeaGuide CCS stainless-steel guides with SiN inserts provide low-friction line travel and are suitable for braid. Thin braid with a fluorocarbon leader is a supplier-supported setup for this style of fishing, although no specific line diameter or breaking strain is given. The SeaGuide Alien Lock Down reel seat holds the reel securely while working lures, including crankbaits and spoons.
The rod weighs 102 g and separates into two sections with a transport length of 116 cm. A competition-ready rod bag is included to protect the blank during transport. Its forgiving response makes it accessible to anglers starting ultra-light fishing as well as specialists seeking feedback with small lures.
