It is intended for perch and trout with micro jigs, small softbaits, light spinners and mini wobblers. The 0.5–4 g casting range defines the lure choice, whether you work the bottom, retrieve steadily or twitch small wobblers with pauses.
S means Slow, a soft, parabolic action. It cushions fine leaders and helps reduce hook pulls with small hooks, while the sensitive Torayca 30T blank provides feedback from delicate takes and lure movements.
The supplier recommends 0.06–0.10 mm braid combined with a 0.12–0.18 mm fluorocarbon leader. This pairs a fine main line with a light leader for the rod's sensitive micro-lure fishing, but it is not a stated line-strength rating.
The 1.83 m rod separates into two sections with a 98 cm transport length. A competition-ready rod bag is included, so you can carry it protected and allow for 98 cm of storage space when packing.

The Savage Gear Revenge SG4 Micro Game is an ultra-light spinning rod for perch and trout with micro lures. Its sensitive Japanese Torayca 30T fibre blank provides direct lure feedback and helps you detect delicate takes. The 1.83 m rod casts 0.5–4 g and weighs 82 g.
Use micro jigs, small softbaits, light spinners and mini wobblers within the casting range. It suits working micro jigs along the bottom, retrieving small lures through quiet water, and fishing current seams, banks and shallow areas. Small wobblers can also be twitched and paused, giving you several ways to present light lures to perch and trout.
The S designation means Slow, a soft, parabolic action. This cushions fine leaders and reduces the risk of small hooks tearing free during the fight. The sensitive blank also lets you feel subtle lure movements and contacts.
The supplier recommends 0.06–0.10 mm braid with a 0.12–0.18 mm fluorocarbon leader for this light setup. These are setup recommendations, not a stated line-strength rating.
SeaGuide CCS stainless-steel guides with SiN inserts provide low-friction line travel and direct feedback during lure work. The SeaGuide Alien Lock Down reel seat keeps the reel secure without play, maintaining a firm connection while retrieving and playing fish.
The two-piece construction breaks down to a transport length of 98 cm, making the rod easier to carry between spots or pack for a trip. A competition-ready rod bag is included to protect it during transport.
