The 2.21 m version is rated for 3–14 g and supports small softbaits, crankbaits, twitchbaits, inline spinners, spoons and Carolina rigs. Choose lures or rigged setups within that casting-weight range, including small softbaits for jigging perch and zander.
It is intended for light lure fishing for perch, trout and zander in rivers, streams and lakes. The supplier also lists harbours and coastal waters for perch and sea trout. Its 3–14 g casting weight keeps these uses within light-lure fishing rather than heavier setups.
Yes. The SeaGuide CCS stainless-steel guides have SiN inserts that support low-friction line flow with thin PE braid. This suits a light braided-line setup for casting and detecting lure contact, although the supplier does not specify a line diameter or breaking strain.
The two-piece rod packs down to 116 cm and weighs 109 g. A rod sleeve is included for transport and storage, so allow room for the 116 cm packed length rather than the full 2.21 m fishing length.

The Savage Gear Revenge SG4 Light Game is a light spinning rod for perch, trout and zander. Its balanced Japanese Torayca 30T blank transmits lure movements and subtle bottom contact, helping you work small to medium-sized lures precisely. The forgiving action cushions fish during the fight, helping reduce hook pulls and line breaks. This combination suits beginners as well as experienced predator anglers.
This 2.21 m version has a casting weight of 3–14 g. It supports small softbaits, crankbaits, twitchbaits, inline spinners, spoons and Carolina rigs within that weight range. Use it for jigging small softbaits for perch and zander or working spinners and spoons for trout. The supplier also identifies rivers, streams, lakes, harbours and coastal waters as suitable settings, including light lure fishing for sea trout.
SeaGuide CCS stainless-steel guides with SiN (silicon nitride) inserts provide low-friction line flow for casting and lure control. They are suitable for thin PE (polyethylene) braid, helping the line run smoothly through the guides. The SeaGuide Alien Lock Down reel seat keeps the reel securely positioned during fishing and playing fish.
The rod weighs 109 g and separates into two sections for a transport length of 116 cm. An included rod sleeve protects it during transport and storage, making the packed length a useful consideration when planning space for your tackle.
