The Savage Gear REVENGE SG2 Light G BC is a freshwater casting rod for small to medium lures, including perch and trout fishing. Its balanced blank combines a fast response with a forgiving action to help cushion fish during the fight and reduce hook pulls and line breaks.
This 2.13 m model has a 7–22 g casting rating and Medium Light power. It is designed for small soft lures, crankbaits, spinners, spoons, twitchbaits and Carolina rigs. Choose lures and rigs within that weight range and pair the rod with a baitcasting reel. The Double Lock reel seat holds the reel securely during casting and retrieving.
The 24+30T high-modulus carbon blank provides the rod's fast yet forgiving response. Eleven SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides, including the tip, carry SiN rings to guide the line. The rod weighs 134 g and has a split grip made from Duragrip 70. Its finish is black.
The two-piece construction reduces the transport length to 112 cm. A Competition Ready-To-Fish rod bag is included for carrying the rod.
