It is intended for pike, catfish and other large predators, and suits casting, vertical fishing and trolling. Its curly tail works on a steady retrieve or when the rod is raised and lowered, so you can use it for both continuous and lift-and-fall presentations.
Firetiger, Purple Pearl and Golden Ambulance differ in colour only. All three are 40 cm long, weigh 165 g and share the same action and ready-rigged setup. Choose your preferred colour, as the supplier does not specify different uses for these finishes.
No separate hook rig or lure weight is needed to complete the supplied lure. Each pack contains one fully rigged Real Eel with sharp, strong competition hooks and an integrated lead-free weight containing a clicking steel ball, so the lure arrives assembled.
Yes, the supplier states that its action works even at very slow speeds. The large curly tail produces the movement, so a slow retrieve remains an active presentation rather than requiring fast winding to animate the tail.
Yes, the supplier says the body is shapeable after heating with boiling water. Heat shaping is therefore supported, but no treatment time is specified, so there is no supplied timed procedure to follow.

The Savage Gear Real Eel is a ready-rigged, eel-shaped soft lure for pike, catfish and other large predators. Its large curly tail produces a pronounced kicking action and natural movement, even at very slow retrieve speeds, allowing a slow presentation without losing tail action.
The Real Eel suits casting, vertical fishing and trolling. Retrieve it steadily or raise and lower the rod to work the tail and imitate an escaping eel. The integrated, lead-free weight contains a clicking steel ball, adding sound to the lure's movement.
Sharp, strong competition hooks are already fitted, so the lure needs no separate hook rig before fishing. The soft body can be reshaped after heating with boiling water.
The Firetiger, Purple Pearl and Golden Ambulance variants offered here are all 40 cm long and weigh 165 g. Choose by colour, as length, weight, action and rigging are shared. The supplier gives no colour-specific fishing conditions or performance differences. Each variant contains one fully rigged Real Eel in the selected colour.
