Thread the dropshot hook through the centre of the grub body (either nose or body-centre depending on your preference). The thin ring tail section will hang freely below the hook, creating that characteristic darting dropshot action. The kit includes size 1 and 4 dropshot hooks suited to 5–6cm baits.
The kit includes 2.5g and 4g jigheads for shallow water and mid-depth presentations (up to 3–4 metres), and 5g and 7g weights for deeper zones or faster current. Start with the lightest weight that allows you to maintain bottom contact and adjust from there based on depth, drift speed and casting distance.
