The 2.21m version casts 50–100g and has a Fast action. Its shorter length suits handling heavy lures from a boat, with responsive lure contact for detecting subtle takes. The supplier also identifies softbaits, hardbaits and large chatterbaits for this version, with pike, zander and catfish among its uses. The 2.59m version casts 50–110g and has a Moderate Fast action. Choose it for extra rod reach and the higher lure-weight ceiling, with a more yielding action under load.
