It is intended for perch and zander in freshwater lakes, canals and rivers. Its realistic goby profile imitates a natural prey fish, making it a choice for anglers who want a goby imitation for these predators.
The Ned Goby is designed for Savage Ned heads. Each pack contains five softbait bodies, each 7 cm long and weighing 3 g, so select a suitable Ned head to complete the presentation.
Only the colour changes: Black & Blue, Clear Chartreuse, Green Pumpkin Purple Copper, PB&J or GPK. Length, weight and pack size remain 7 cm, 3 g and five baits, so colour selection does not require a different bait size. The suppliers do not specify colour-specific uses.
The custom Duratech formulation provides lifelike feel and durability, salt optimizes buoyancy, and scent is intended to stimulate feeding and aggression. These features support a realistic Ned-head presentation rather than relying on the goby shape alone.

The Savage Gear Ned Goby is a softbait for perch and zander fishing in freshwater lakes, canals and rivers. Its realistic goby profile imitates a natural prey fish, while the custom Duratech soft plastic provides a lifelike feel and durability. It is designed to be fished on Savage Ned heads.
Salt is infused into the Duratech formulation to optimize buoyancy for Ned-head presentation. The scent infusion is intended to stimulate feeding and aggression, complementing the realistic profile with a scent cue.
Every version measures 7 cm and weighs 3 g per bait. The supplier also describes the profile as 2.75 inches. Each pack contains five softbait bodies for rigging on a suitable Ned head.
The five versions differ in colour, not length, weight, material or pack size: Black & Blue, Clear Chartreuse, Green Pumpkin Purple Copper, PB&J and the supplier colour code GPK. Choose the colour you want to fish without changing the bait's size or setup. No colour-specific fishing conditions are stated by the suppliers.
