The Savage Gear LB Roach Swim & Jerk is a soft lure for freshwater spinning for pike, perch and zander. Its shape is based on a 3D scan of a roach, while three flexible, connected body sections produce a lifelike swimming action.
On a steady retrieve, the articulated body snakes through the water. Rod jerks make the lure dart sideways and pause briefly, letting you alternate swimming retrieves with a more abrupt presentation. The supplier also lists trolling as a suitable technique.
This Firetiger version measures 7.5 cm and weighs 4 g. The supplier lists a quantity of 70 pieces and states that the lure contains no lead.
