The Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Pulse Tail Trout range is built around a scanned trout profile, a subtle pulse tail action and a Line Thru rigging concept for more controlled fights. All variants are slow sinking, pre-rigged and designed for freshwater predator fishing.
The body uses Savage Gear's 4D Photo Chrome skin print to create a highly natural baitfish look. Combined with the pulse tail, the lure keeps a convincing action on slow, medium and faster retrieves.
The Line Thru design lets the lure slide up the leader after the strike. This reduces the fish's leverage against the hook and also helps protect the lure body from sharp teeth during the fight.
Each bait comes pre-rigged with a Carbon49 Line Thru Modifier Rig and Y-treble hook, so the bait is ready for use straight from the pack. The tail also includes a slot for adding a glass rattle or scent if you want to fine-tune the presentation.
The range covers a more compact 16cm / 51g option with a stated swimming depth of 0.5-1.2m and a larger 20cm / 102g option running at 1-2m. Both are aimed at pike fishing and keep the same slow-sinking behaviour.
