4D Herring Big Shad 220mm/200gr PUFFIN
incl. VAT, excl.
The 4D Herring Big Shad in Puffin is a lifelike replica of the Atlantic herring, a primary forage fish for halibut, giant cod, and coalfish in Nordic waters. Its lively rocking swimming action on both steady retrieves and drops produces an incredibly realistic fleeing pattern that triggers strikes from even the most cautious predators.
This 22 cm, 200 g soft swimbait combines a durable yet soft PVC body with a super-detailed lead alloy head. The nylon mesh-reinforced tail bridge ensures the lure withstands aggressive attacks and repeated use. An anise scent adds extra attraction in cold, deep water.
The 4D Herring Big Shad comes pre-rigged with a Kevlar stinger and four strong-forged steel hooks (size 6/0). This heavy-duty rigging is designed to handle the powerful runs of halibut and trophy cod, making it ideal for both jigging and trolling in depths from 10 to 75 m.
The 4D Herring Big Shad is available in three sizes and numerous color patterns to match conditions and target species:
22 cm / 200 g (Puffin, Coalfish, Cusk, Plaice, Red Head Mackerel, Clear Herring, Redfish, Rosefish, and photo-print patterns): ideal for cod, coalfish, and mid-sized halibut in depths of 10–75 m; perfect for jigging and light trolling
25 cm / 300 g (same color range): targets larger cod, halibut, and coalfish in 10–100 m; suited for heavier jigging and deeper trolling
32 cm / 560 g (same color range): designed for giant halibut, trophy cod, and big coalfish in 10–150 m; the go-to choice for extreme deep-water big game fishing
