The diving-lip attachment produces a lively swimming action with rolling S-curves. The nose attachment makes the lure dive beneath the surface. It rises again on pauses through strong buoyancy, so you can change the presentation by changing the attachment point and pausing the retrieve.
Choose 20 cm at 32 g in brown, black or Bloody Red Belly for the smaller, lighter profile. The 30 cm versions offer a larger profile in White, grey, black or Bloody Red Belly. Grey and black weigh 86 g, and White weighs 90 g. The 30 cm versions also provide the back-mounted stinger option for weeds and cover.
The supplied weed-protection setup is specified for the larger, 30 cm versions. A treble-hook stinger clips onto the back as an alternative hook position, making these the stated choice for vegetation and obstacles. The same setup is not specified for the 20 cm versions.
Yes. Each complete lure contains one rat lure and one spare tail. The soft tail has internal braid reinforcement and uses a clip system, so the supplied spare can replace the fitted tail without replacing the entire lure.
It is intended for pike, zander and large catfish. The realistic rat profile combines an ABS body, soft appendages and clicking sounds with swimming and diving presentations, giving you a rat imitation rather than a conventional baitfish-shaped lure.

The Savage Gear 3D Rad Ratte is a floating rat-imitation lure for pike, zander and large catfish. Its ABS hard body, soft appendages and 3D-scanned details reproduce a rat's profile, while two line attachment points let you switch between surface swimming and a diving presentation.
Attach the line at the diving lip for a lively swimming action with rolling S-curves. Attach it at the nose to make the lure dive beneath the surface with a lifelike swimming action. Strong buoyancy brings it back up during retrieve pauses, allowing you to alternate swimming, diving and rising movements. The lure also produces clicking sounds and is balanced to land belly-down.
Soft ears, legs and a tail complement the hard ABS body and realistic whiskers. Fabric-reinforced joints connect these flexible parts, and an internal braid reinforces the tail. A clip system makes tail changes straightforward. Every complete lure includes one spare tail, so a replacement is already supplied. The lure comes fitted with sharp Savage Gear X-treble hooks.
The 30 cm versions have a treble-hook stinger clipped onto the back as an alternative hook position. This weed-protection arrangement is intended for fishing around vegetation and obstacles. Choose the larger version when that rigging option matters. The stated weed-protection setup applies to the larger versions, not the 20 cm models.
The 20 cm versions weigh 32 g and come in brown, black and Bloody Red Belly. They offer the smaller, lighter rat profile. The 30 cm versions provide a larger profile and come in White, grey, black and Bloody Red Belly. The grey and black 30 cm versions weigh 86 g, while White weighs 90 g. Choose by lure size, the stated weight and the colour you want, without assuming a colour-specific water condition or performance advantage. The White 30 cm version is also explicitly specified as lead-free.
