No. The supplier highlights late evening and night, when bats are active, but also describes daytime surface fishing for pike. Its floating action lets you present it above weed beds, aquatic plants and submerged timber during either period.
Its wings alternately displace water, producing a paddling movement, splashes and plopping sounds. The lure stays balanced and lands belly-down, presenting a bat or fallen bird struggling on the surface rather than a diving baitfish imitation.
You receive one 3D Bat lure in the selected colour and size, not a colour assortment. The 7 cm versions have size 6 hooks and the 10 cm version has size 1 hooks, so the listed hook size changes with lure size.

The Savage Gear 3D Bat is a floating, realistic bat imitation for surface lure fishing for pike. Its wings alternately displace water during the retrieve, creating a paddling movement with splashes and plopping sounds. The action resembles a fallen bat trying to swim to shore, giving you an animal imitation rather than a conventional baitfish profile.
The lure stays balanced during the retrieve and lands belly-down, keeping its paddling presentation upright. Fish it on the surface above weed beds, aquatic plants and submerged timber. This is an over-cover presentation, not a claim of weedless rigging.
The supplier highlights late evening and night, when bats are active, but also describes daytime use for surface pike fishing. Its movement can also resemble a fallen bird struggling on the water.
The 7 cm, 14 g version comes in Black or Grey, both with size 6 hooks. These two variants share the same size and weight, so the difference is colour. The Brown version is 10 cm long, weighs 28 g and has size 1 hooks. Choose it for the larger imitation, with twice the lure weight, and match your rod's casting range to the selected weight. No colour-specific performance differences are supplied.
The 7 cm Black version is explicitly listed for freshwater and as containing no lead. These specifications are not supplied separately for the other variants.
Each variant contains one 3D Bat lure in the selected size and colour.
