Salmo Rattlin Hornet floating Wobbler
incl. VAT, excl.
Developed in collaboration with American professional anglers, the Salmo Rattlin' Hornet is a versatile floating crankbait built for both casting and trolling — delivering unmistakable rod-tip action and impressive casting distance right out of the box.
The integrated Salmo Infinity Cast System shifts weight during the cast for exceptional long-distance throws, even from the bank. Once it hits the water, the lure dives to its running depth quickly and efficiently — getting your bait into the strike zone faster than standard crankbaits.
The Rattlin' Hornet produces an intense, vibrating action that transmits clearly through the rod — so you always feel what the lure is doing. Simple steady retrieves or trolling at variable speeds are all it takes to provoke predators. Short pause-and-drop stops during the retrieve add an extra triggering impulse that often draws reaction strikes.
The Rattlin' Hornet is available in multiple sizes and colours to match different species, water depths, and conditions. Select the variant best suited to your target fish and fishing style:
3.5 cm / 3.1 g — Running depth 1–1.8 m: Compact and lightweight, ideal for shallow water and smaller predators such as perch and small trout. Available in Pearl Shad Clear and Hot Gill Clear.
4.5 cm / 6 g — Running depth 1.8–3.4 m: A mid-range option well-suited to perch, trout, and chub in moderate depths.
6.5 cm / 20 g — Running depth 2.5–5 m: The heavier, deeper-running choice for pike, pike-perch, and larger predators in deeper water or when trolling.
Additional colour and size variants are available in the product matrix for a wider range of conditions and preferences.
