Yes, this 5 g version floats at rest but dives during retrieval. The supplier specifies 0.8 m for casting and 1.5 m for trolling, so it is a subsurface lure despite its floating behaviour. Use those technique-specific depths when deciding which water layer to fish.
You receive one 5 cm lure in Yamame Ayu with sharp VMC treble hooks, specified in size 8. Each lure is individually hand-tuned and tank-tested, so its action is checked before use and the hooks are already fitted.
Handle the sharp hooks carefully and check their suitability before use. Store and transport them in a safe container out of children's reach, and dispose of used or damaged hooks properly. The supplier also warns of possible lead or cadmium content, so wash your hands after handling and avoid ingestion or contact with food.

The Salmo Butcher Floating is a crankbait for lure fishing in rivers, lakes and canals. Its rounded, 5 cm baitfish profile produces an aggressive wobbling action for perch, pike, bass, trout and chub. It provides a small baitfish presentation with a pronounced action during retrieval.
The supplied Yamame Ayu version is 5 cm long and weighs 5 g. It floats at rest, rather than sinking. The stated diving depths are 0.8 m when casting and 1.5 m when trolling, so choose the presentation according to the depth you want to cover. Yamame Ayu identifies the colour pattern of this variant.
Sharp VMC treble hooks are fitted, with hook size 8 specified by the supplier. Each lure is individually hand-tuned and tank-tested to check its action before use. The pack contains one lure in Yamame Ayu.
The supplier warns that the lure may contain chemicals such as lead or cadmium and that prolonged exposure can be harmful. Wash your hands thoroughly after handling, avoid ingestion and keep the lure away from food.
Sharp hooks can cause serious injury. Handle them carefully and check their suitability for the intended use. Transport and store the lure with its hooks in a safe container, out of children's reach. Dispose of used or damaged hooks properly to prevent injury and follow the supplied safety and usage instructions.
