It is intended for light hardbaits and softbaits, including shads, spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. Its 3.5–14 g casting range determines which lure weights to choose.
The 244 cm rod separates into two sections with a transport length of 126 cm. Your storage space or rod bag needs to accommodate that packed length.
The fast, tapered carbon blank provides direct lure contact, while the Aluminum Blank Connector transfers line vibrations to your fingertip. This helps you feel the lure as you retrieve it.

The Rapala Shadow Blade is a spinning rod for fishing light hardbaits and softbaits for predators. Its balanced, fast, tapered High-Modulus Carbon blank provides direct lure contact. The Aluminum Blank Connector transfers line vibrations to your fingertip, helping you feel the lure during the retrieve.
This 244 cm model has L power and a casting weight of 3.5–14 g. Choose hardbaits, soft shads, spinnerbaits or chatterbaits within that range. The supplier lists perch, trout, zander, pike, asp, sea trout and sea bass as intended targets, but the light casting range remains the deciding factor for lure selection.
Fuji ‘O’ Concept Line guides help prevent tangles when casting. The reel is held by a Fuji VSS reel seat, and the rod features a 4-Axis Carbon Foregrip. At 154 g, its weight and balanced blank are relevant to handling throughout repeated casts and retrieves.
The two-piece construction reduces the 244 cm fishing length to a transport length of 126 cm. Allow for that packed length when choosing storage or arranging transport.
