MAXRAP MXR17 BSRDL
incl. VAT, excl.
The 17 cm MaxRap combines an aerodynamic profile with the patented MaxCast mechanism, delivering exceptional casting range and a suspending action that draws aggressive strikes from pike, zander, and sea bass.
Tungsten ball balancing and a streamlined body shape allow the MXR17 to cut through headwinds and reach distant strike zones with precision. The internal MaxCast system shifts weight rearward during the cast, then returns for perfect swimming balance.
Rip the rod tip for erratic, darting escapes or use a steady retrieve to unlock the classic Rapala wounded-minnow wobble. The suspending behaviour on pause keeps the lure in the strike zone longer, ideal for hesitant predators in 0.3–0.9 m of water.
The MaxRap series spans four lengths from 11 cm to 17 cm. Select based on target species, forage size, and casting requirements:
MXR11 (11 cm / 13 g / 2× #6 hooks) – Compact option for perch, trout, and lighter tackle; best when matching smaller baitfish.
MXR13 (13 cm / 15 g / 3× #6 hooks) – Versatile mid-size for zander, bass, and coastal species; balances castability with presence.
MXR15 (15 cm / 23 g / 3× #4 hooks) – Upscaled for pike, larger zander, and saltwater hunters; ideal when forage averages 12–18 cm.
MXR17 (17 cm / 28 g / 3× #4 hooks) – BSRDL – The largest profile for trophy pike, musky, and pelagic predators; excels when long casts and big-bait presentations are needed.
