It aerates water to help keep live bait alive longer and can also be used while holding caught fish. It mixes air into the water at 1.5 litres per minute. Check local rules before keeping fish or using live bait.
The floating pump starts automatically when it contacts water. Water contact activates aeration, so it does not need a separate manual start at that point.
The 15-minute interval setting gives a 36-hour runtime, compared with 18 hours of continuous operation. Choose continuous mode for uninterrupted aeration or interval mode for longer runtime with intermittent aeration.
It is supplied as a two-piece pack. The pump requires three C batteries. Check them for leakage or corrosion and remove them from the pump before prolonged storage to prevent damage from leaking batteries.
