It is suitable for freshwater and saltwater, including stationary river and lake fishing, feeder fishing and shore sea fishing. You can therefore use the same rest at inland and coastal spots, provided your rod is within its supported use range.
The supplier describes it as suitable for ordinary carp and trout rods and medium-sized sea rods. For very heavy sea rods, it recommends a sturdier ground stand, so this lightweight rest is not the recommended choice for that setup.
It folds for space-saving transport, weighs 77.6 g and sets up in a few movements. These features make it convenient to pack in a tackle bag and take along when walking to the water or moving between spots.
Rinse it with fresh water after saltwater use and let it air-dry, then store it somewhere cool and dry. Although its plastic construction resists saltwater corrosion, check for damage before the next use and do not use it if damaged.
One folding plastic rod rest is supplied. If you need several separate resting points, plan your quantity accordingly.

The Ragot Plastic Folding Rod Rest is a folding plastic rod rest for setting your rod down while fishing from the bank, coast or pier. Its folding construction saves space in your tackle bag, and its 77.6 g weight keeps the extra carrying weight low when walking to a swim or changing spots.
The rest is suitable for freshwater and saltwater, including stationary fishing on rivers and lakes, feeder fishing and shore sea fishing. The plastic construction resists corrosion in saltwater. It sets up in a few movements, giving you a rod-resting point when taking a short break.
This lightweight rest is suitable for ordinary carp and trout rods and medium-sized sea rods. For very heavy sea rods, the supplier recommends a sturdier ground stand instead. One rest is supplied.
After saltwater use, rinse the rest with fresh water and let it air-dry. Store it in a cool, dry place. Check for visible damage before use, set it up securely and do not use damaged equipment. It is intended only for fishing and is not a toy. Keep it away from unsupervised children and pets.
