It is suitable for perch, trout, pike and zander in freshwater, including still and flowing water. Use worms or small baitfish for perch, natural baits for trout in current, and baitfish for pike near structures or the bank.
Bagged versions have buoyancy ratings of 5, 10, 15 and 20 g, so match the rating to your rig's load. Bulk versions are listed at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 g. If you want the 30 g version, choose bulk packaging.
Thread the main line through the float, set the depth with a stop and balance the rig with lead. The supplier recommends steel for pike to resist bite-offs, while monofilament or fluorocarbon of suitable strength generally suits perch and zander. Adapt the setup to the target fish and depth.
The Aron's conspicuous signal colour makes the float easier to follow at distance and in low light. This is useful for watching subtle movements when fishing for perch or zander, including zander sessions at dusk.

The Ragot Aron is a compact inline float for freshwater predator fishing. Its conspicuous signal colour helps you watch for bites at distance and in low light, particularly when fishing for zander at dusk. The family is suitable for perch, trout, pike and zander in both still and flowing water.
Use small baitfish or worms for perch at intermediate depths, natural baits for trout in flowing water, or baitfish for pike around structures and along the bank. The Aron also supports presenting bait at a chosen depth for zander. It can be used with natural or artificial baits, with the presentation adapted to the target fish and water depth.
The line runs through the float. A stop on the main line sets the fishing depth, while lead balances the float. For pike, the supplier recommends a steel leader for resistance to bite-offs. For perch and zander, a suitably strong monofilament or fluorocarbon leader is generally sufficient.
Individually bagged versions are offered with buoyancy ratings of 5, 10, 15 and 20 g. Choose the rating to suit the load of your float rig. Bulk versions are listed at 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30 g with a quantity of 12 floats. Within this family, 30 g is only available in bulk packaging. The shared model is Aron, with packaging and gram rating distinguishing the versions.
Check for visible damage before each use and do not use damaged tackle. Store the float in a cool, dry place, keep small components away from unattended children and pets, and use it only for fishing in accordance with local regulations.
