Quantum Mr Pike Bottom Rig Leader: deadbait presentation on the bottom

The Quantum Mr Pike Bottom Rig Leader is a finished steel trace for pike fishing with dead baitfish on bottom rigs. Two sharp carbon-steel treble hooks secure the bait, while the Camouflage colour helps the leader blend with the lake or river bed.

Construction for pike fishing

Every version has a 60 cm steel leader with a stated breaking strain of 13.6 kg. Crimped sleeves secure the rig's connections, and the strong carbon-steel trebles are designed to withstand the fight with large pike.

Choose the hook-size pair

The variants differ only in their treble-hook sizes: #4 / #2, #6 / #4 or #8 / #6. The #4 / #2 pair has the largest hooks, #6 / #4 is the middle option, and #8 / #6 has the smallest. Choose the hook sizes to suit your bait presentation. Leader length, breaking strain, colour and construction remain the same across all three versions.

Supplied contents

Each pack contains one finished pike leader with two treble hooks in the selected sizes.

Frequently asked

What bait and fishing method is this leader designed for?

It is designed for pike fishing with dead baitfish on bottom rigs. The finished steel leader carries two treble hooks, so it provides the bait-holding trace for that presentation rather than being loose leader material.

How do the three variants differ?

Only the treble-hook sizes change: #4 / #2 is the largest pair, #6 / #4 the middle pair and #8 / #6 the smallest. All have a 60 cm leader and 13.6 kg breaking strain, so choose by the hook sizes you need for your bait presentation, not by leader length or strength.

How many leaders and hooks are included?

You receive one finished pike leader fitted with two carbon-steel treble hooks in the chosen sizes. The hook-size pair describes the two hooks on that single leader, not a pack of two leaders.
