It is designed for retrieving trout rigs behind a float or floating bombarda. The integrated pilot ball keeps the swivel from sinking, so it suits setups where the connector needs to stay afloat. The stated use is with a floating bombarda, not a sinking one.
The white version has a diameter of 10 mm and a stated breaking strength of 14 kg. You receive five swivels, each with a pilot ball, so the pack supplies five buoyant connectors for your trout rigs.

The Quantum Magic Trout Float Connector Swivel combines a pilot ball with an integrated swivel for retrieving trout rigs. The buoyant ball prevents the swivel from sinking behind a float or floating bombarda.
The swivel stays afloat behind the float or floating bombarda during the retrieve. This is useful when you want the connector to remain buoyant rather than pull that part of the rig down.
This white version has a diameter of 10 mm and a stated breaking strength of 14 kg. The pack contains five swivels with pilot balls.
