Choose 3+1 for three carp rods or 4+1 for four. Each set includes one receiver. The 3+1 LEDs are Red/Green/Yellow, while 4+1 adds Blue. Range, construction and settings are the same, so rod count is the main difference.
The threaded mounts fit banksticks, buzzer bars and rod pods, with black and LED-colour-matched rubber rings supplied for the threads. The 30-second silent mode lets you attach indicators without sounding the alarms, making setup quieter.
There are four volume levels including silent mode and five sensitivity levels, so you can adjust response and sound level to conditions. Tone adjustment is not available. The smaller speaker is designed to reduce power consumption and keep the alarm compact.
The alarms are waterproof to IPX6 and suitable for heavy rain. Protective covers are included for transport and storage. Each alarm needs one CR2 3V battery, which is not supplied, so obtain the alarm batteries separately before fishing.
Both sets have a wireless range of up to 150 m, allowing bite signals to reach the receiver away from the rods. This is a stated maximum rather than a guaranteed distance, so range does not distinguish the two versions.

The 3+1 set includes three alarms and one receiver, with Red/Green/Yellow LEDs. The 4+1 set includes four alarms and one receiver, with Red/Green/Blue/Yellow LEDs. Choose by the number of rods you want to monitor. The 4+1 version supplies one more alarm and a fourth LED colour. Both versions have the same adjustment options, construction and wireless range.
