They suit self-hooking carp setups, including Stiff Rigs, Chod Rigs and Zig Rigs. The 20° out-turned eye is compatible with stiff hooklinks and allows you to tie your own rigs with different leader materials.
They are carp hooks that can be used on hair rigs with boilies, pellets and particles, depending on hook size. Bream and tench are also named as possible targets, so choose the hook size to suit your bait and presentation.
Size #2 is larger than #4. Both share the carbon steel construction, wide gape, very sharp straight point and 20° out-turned eye. Each pack contains 10 loose hooks of one size, so the choice is the hook size rather than a different rig pattern or pack count.

Prologic Hoox XC8 are carbon steel single hooks for self-hooking carp rigs. Their very sharp, straight point and wide gape help the hook take hold in the carp's mouth. The strong carbon steel construction provides the hook's structural strength.
The eye turns outwards by 20°, making this pattern suitable for stiff hooklinks and for Stiff Rigs, Chod Rigs and Zig Rigs. The eye also lets you tie your own hooklinks using different leader materials, rather than relying on a ready-tied rig.
Depending on hook size, Hoox XC8 can be used for hair rigs with boilies, pellets and particles. Alongside carp, the supplier names bream and tench as possible targets for these bait presentations. Match the hook size to the bait and rig you intend to use.
This range offers sizes #2 and #4. Size #2 is the larger option, while #4 provides a smaller hook format. Both have the same carbon steel construction, wide gape, straight point and out-turned eye. Each pack contains 10 loose hooks in the selected size.
