The 3.60 m rod separates into three sections with a transport length of 128 cm. Use that packed length when checking your rod bag or storage space.
It provides visual indication of runs and drop-back bites, so it covers both line being taken and slackening line. A separate visual indicator is also included for the rod setup.

The Prologic Firestarter carp set brings together a carp rod, rod supports and bite indicators for anglers starting carp fishing. Two banksticks and a rod rest support the rod at the bank, while the visual indicator and Prologic SMW bite alarm provide bite indication. The supplier also describes the rod as usable for trout and predator fishing.
The three-piece rod measures 3.60 m and has a 3 lbs test curve. It has a 20T carbon blank and weighs 375 g. The high-density EVA handle provides the grip. The rod breaks down to a transport length of 128 cm, so check that measurement against your rod bag and available storage space.
The SMW alarm provides visual indication of runs and drop-back bites, covering both line being taken and slackening line. Its line roller has four magnets. The volume knob also operates the on/off switch, and the integrated snag ears have LEDs. The two banksticks measure 30–50 cm, allowing the support height to be adjusted.
The set contains one carp rod, two banksticks, one rod rest, one visual bite indicator and one SMW bite alarm. A reel is not listed in the supplied contents, so this is not a rod-and-reel package.
