The Custom SMX MKII combines elegant design with robust functionality. This compact, fully waterproof bite alarm system operates reliably in all conditions and features upgraded wireless transmission, illuminated extending snag ears, and intuitive control options for carp anglers who value both style and performance.

Fully Waterproof and Compact Design

Built to withstand harsh weather, the Custom SMX MKII is 100% waterproof and exceptionally compact. Each alarm runs on 2 AAA 1.5V batteries (not included) and features a black anodised speaker with a white PTFE magnetic roller wheel. The roller provides smooth, reliable line detection while the colour-coordinated under-lit lighting helps you identify which rod has produced a run, even in darkness.

Adjustable Alerts and Smart Receiver Features

Customise your setup with 5 volume settings plus silent mode, 4 sensitivity levels, and 7 tone options to suit your fishing style and environment. Dedicated drop-back LED and tone alert you to line slackening. The receiver includes last bite memory, silent and vibration modes, dedicated run and drop-back LEDs, and a courtesy night light. Forward-facing LEDs mounted in the extending snag ears can be fully covered or switched off when retracted, giving you total control over visibility.
