The 6ft 3lb packs to 76 cm and weighs 124 g, making it the most compact and lightest option here. The 9ft rods pack to 115 cm and the 10ft rods to 130 cm, so check transport space before choosing a longer version.
At 9ft and 10ft, the 3.5lb rods have a higher test curve and 50 mm butt guides instead of 40 mm. They also weigh more, 283 g versus 239 g at 9ft and 316 g versus 269 g at 10ft. Choose between the higher test curve and lower rod weight, not an assumed casting-weight rating.
Yes. The marker whipping 30 cm from the reel seat gives a reference for measuring line when setting up zig rigs. It helps set the line length, but it is not a depth-measuring device.
Each version has two sections and a telescopic butt section. Orange joint markers help align the sections on assembly. A butt guide protector and nylon sleeve with hook-and-loop closure are supplied for protection during storage and transport.

The Prologic Combat-Micro is a carp rod for freshwater sessions where storage space, travel or overgrown swims make a compact setup useful. Its telescopic butt section reduces transport length while retaining the same blank used throughout the Combat range.
The matte black 24T low-resin carbon-epoxy blank combines a smooth through-action with a moderate action rating, balancing power and forgiveness when playing fish. A full-length Japanese shrink tube grip provides a continuous gripping surface. The rod has a DPS-style reel seat and a black anodised butt cap.
All five versions are two-piece rods with a telescopic butt section. Choose by both assembled length and the space available for transport.
Version | Length | Transport length | Weight | Butt guide | Guides including tip |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
6ft 3lb | 1.80 m | 76 cm | 124 g | 25 mm | 5 |
9ft 3lb | 2.74 m | 115 cm | 239 g | 40 mm | 7 |
9ft 3.5lb | 2.74 m | 115 cm | 283 g | 50 mm | 7 |
10ft 3lb | 3.00 m | 130 cm | 269 g | 40 mm | 7 |
10ft 3.5lb | 3.00 m | 130 cm | 316 g | 50 mm | 7 |
The 6ft 3lb is the shortest and lightest option for restricted space. The 9ft versions offer more rod length while still packing to 115 cm. Choose a 10ft version when you want the longest rod in this family and can accommodate 130 cm in transit. At either 9ft or 10ft, the 3.5lb version has a higher test curve and a larger butt guide than the 3lb version, but weighs more. The test curve is not a casting-weight rating in grams.
Lightweight stainless Minima guides and an anti-frap tip ring guide the line. A marker whipping 30 cm from the reel seat provides a reference for measuring line, particularly when setting up zig rigs. Discreet orange joint alignment markers help align the sections during assembly. A black carbon line clip is fitted, but there is no hook keeper.
A butt guide protector and a nylon rod sleeve with hook-and-loop closure are supplied. These complement the compact pack-down format for storage and travel.
