These freshwater carp rods combine traditional styling with a soft through action that cushions sudden runs while retaining reserve power during the fight. Slim, high-modulus carbon blanks have an anti-reflective finish.
Full cork handles and cork butts retain the old-school feel. Gun smoke aluminium reel seats secure the reel, with HD-vented Inspire fittings, laser-etched collars and sleeving along the handle. Lightweight, durable MM-Series guides follow a traditional layout. An 8 mm anti-frap tip guide helps reduce line wrapping around the tip.
The 3 m, 3 lb version weighs 285 g and has a 30 mm butt guide. Its 156 cm transport length makes it the shorter option both assembled and packed. The 3.6 m versions have 40 mm butt guides and pack down to 187 cm. Choose 3 lb for the lowest test curve at this length, 3.25 lb for the intermediate rating or 3.5 lb for the highest rating in the family. The 3.6 m, 3 lb rod weighs 345 g and the 3.5 lb version weighs 380 g. These test curves are not casting-weight ratings in grams.
