It is intended for freshwater feeder fishing, including carp, tench and roach. Its high sides and non-slip rubber insert help keep the rod positioned when wind, current or sudden bites could move it.
The soft rubber tube insert cushions the contact area and helps protect the handle from pressure marks. Fixangle retains the angle you set, so the rod rests on a soft surface without the rest changing its chosen orientation.

The Preston Tube Rod Rest is a rod rest for freshwater feeder fishing, including sessions for carp, tench and roach. Its soft rubber tube insert and high sides keep the rod securely positioned when wind or current makes it harder to keep the rod steady.
The rubber insert provides a non-slip resting surface and cushions the rod to protect its handle from pressure marks. The raised sides limit sideways movement during gusts or sudden bites, helping the rod stay where you placed it.
The integrated Fixangle mechanism lets you set the rest at the required angle and keeps that orientation in place. This supports consistent rod positioning while you watch for bites at the bank.
