Yes. The larger band has an external pocket for the feeder or lead attached to your line. Place the weight in this pocket to keep it away from rod tips and guides, rather than leaving it loose against the rod.
The set contains two black rod bands in different sizes. Both fasten with Velcro, and the larger band carries the external pocket, giving you one band for each end of the rod and a place to stow the attached feeder or lead.

The Preston Supera X Rod Bands secure ready-rigged fishing rods for storage and transport in a rod bag or holdall. One band wraps around each end of the rod and fastens with Velcro. The flexible fit holds the rod securely without damaging it.
The larger band has an external pocket for the feeder or lead already attached to your line. Stowing the weight in this pocket keeps it from making direct contact with rod tips and guides during transport, helping prevent damage while the rod remains rigged.
The set contains two black bands, one larger and one smaller. Place them at the upper and lower ends of the rod and secure the Velcro fastenings to hold the rod together.
