It is intended for hooklengths and pole rigs in freshwater match fishing, with feeder and float fishing also supported. Its clear, supple line and built-in stretch suit making your own rigs for carp, tench and roach.
It has a stated breaking strain of 5.7kg and comes on a 100m spool. Preston positions 0.26mm among the heavier sizes for modern match fishing, so it is the thicker option for that use rather than a very fine hooklength line.
Yes, Reflo Power has built-in stretch that helps cushion sudden runs, which is useful on pole rigs. No stretch percentage is supplied, so it should not be chosen on the basis of a specific stretch rating.
The line is supple and knots well, making it practical for tying hooklengths. Split shot can also be moved without too much detrimental effect, which helps when adjusting a rig's shotting, although this is not a claim that the line is immune to damage.

Its built-in stretch cushions sudden runs, while its strength relative to diameter and easy knotting support dependable rig construction.
