The Power Pole Rig is intended for freshwater coarse fishing, including carp, tench and roach, with an emphasis on larger baits and positive presentations. Maggots, casters, worms and sweetcorn are supported bait choices, so you can use these without building a separate rig for each bait.
One assembled rig is supplied with a float, 5 m of Accupower line, super-soft shot or olivettes and a pre-tied N-20 hook. This version has a 0.5 g float carrying capacity. Attach it to your pole and add your bait rather than tying the complete setup yourself.
The NiTi wire stem stabilises the float, while the visible 1.5 mm hollow bristle helps show cautious bites. Its line-through balsa body is designed for varied weather and depths, and the 5 m rig line provides scope for fishing deeper swims.

The Preston Power Pole Rig is a ready-made pole float rig for freshwater coarse fishing, particularly with larger baits and more positive presentations. Based on rigs tied by Preston consultants, it combines a stable float with a visible hollow bristle to show cautious bites. It is suitable for carp, tench and roach.
The 1.5 mm hollow bristle makes the float easy to see, while the NiTi wire stem provides stability in wind and current. A strong balsa body with the line running through it completes the float. The construction is designed for varied weather conditions and a wide range of fishing depths. This version has a float carrying capacity of 0.5 g.
Each rig uses 5 m of Accupower line, super-soft shot or olivettes and a sharp, pre-tied N-20 hook. The line length allows use in deeper swims. Supplied as one assembled rig, it is ready to attach to the pole and bait up without tying the rig from scratch. Suitable baits include maggots, casters, worms and sweetcorn.
