The supplied Snaplok knuckle fits 36 mm legs, and the included insert adapts it to 30 mm legs. Check your seatbox leg diameter against these two specified sizes before buying.
Select the stopwatch function with Mode, then use Start/Stop to start and stop the timer. Reset clears the reading, so you can measure each new casting interval separately.
Yes, it has a clock function as well as a stopwatch. Press Mode three times from normal clock mode to set seconds, minutes and hours with Start/Stop, confirming each with Reset. You can then compare the clock with your match schedule.
It uses two LR44 batteries, both included, so no separate battery purchase is needed with the stopwatch. For replacements, use the specified LR44 type and dispose of used batteries according to local recycling guidance without burning or puncturing them.

The Preston Offbox Stopwatch is a seatbox-mounted stopwatch for match anglers and freshwater feeder fishing. Use its stopwatch function to measure intervals between casts and its clock to keep track of the match schedule. The Snaplok mounting knuckle lets you position it on a seatbox leg within easy reach.
The supplied knuckle fits 36 mm legs and includes a 30 mm insert. These are the two specified mounting sizes, so check your leg diameter before choosing it. The stopwatch mounts directly to the leg rather than taking up space on a tray.
Press Mode until the stopwatch function appears. Start/Stop starts and stops the timer, and Reset clears the measured time for the next interval. In freshwater sessions for carp, tench or roach, it can also be used to time plumbing or track the intervals between bites.
To set the clock, press Mode three times from normal clock mode. Adjust seconds, minutes and hours with Start/Stop, pressing Reset to confirm each setting. This gives you both elapsed-time measurement and a clock for checking the time during a match.
Two LR44 batteries are included. Follow local battery recycling guidance when disposing of them, as improper disposal can harm the environment. Do not incinerate or puncture batteries.
