It holds a pole in place while you feed groundbait balls or rest the pole. It also doubles as a rod butt rest, letting you use the same seat-box attachment to support a rod's handle end.
The supplied inserts are listed as 30 mm Round and 23 mm OnBox Round Square. Check both the dimensions and the profile against your seat-box legs, rather than assuming the attachment fits every seat box.
Its compact design takes up little space during transport, and mounting on compatible seat-box systems is described as straightforward. It can therefore be carried with your seat-box equipment and fitted at the swim.

The Preston Offbox 36 Up & Over Pole Rest is a seat-box pole support that holds your pole in place while you feed groundbait balls or need to rest it during fishing. It also serves as a rod butt rest, so the same attachment can support either a pole or the butt of a rod.
The supplied inserts are listed as 30 mm Round and 23 mm OnBox Round Square. Compare these fittings with your seat-box legs before choosing the rest. The inserts adapt the attachment to the corresponding leg profiles, and the rest is designed for straightforward mounting on compatible seat-box systems.
Alongside pole fishing, the rest is described for feeder fishing in freshwater, including fishing for carp, tench and roach. River and coastal use are also mentioned. Its compact design takes up little space during transport, making it easier to carry with your seat-box equipment.
