It is designed for both bait and smaller tackle items, so you can use it for either rather than as a dedicated bait-only bag. Its multipurpose design is also suitable for coarse fishing.
Yes, the EVA construction and hard moulded lid provide strong water resistance, and the lid protects against splashes. This makes it suitable for adverse bankside weather, but full waterproofing is not specified, so do not treat it as a fully waterproof container.
The bag measures 45 × 29 × 27 cm (length × width × height). A strong collapsible moulded handle and padded carry strap give you two carrying options, while the compact design helps with storage on and off the bank. Use these dimensions to check the space you need.

The Preston Hardcase Tackle Safe is a multipurpose fishing bag for bait and smaller tackle items, suited to coarse fishing. Its durable EVA construction and hard moulded lid provide strong water resistance for use on the bank in adverse weather.
The shape-retaining hard lid protects the contents from splashes. The bag is made from 100% ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and comes in black and blue. The stated protection is water resistance, not a fully waterproof rating.
A strong moulded handle folds down for storage, while a padded carry strap provides another way to transport the bag. The compact design helps with storage both on and off the bank. The Standard version measures 45 × 29 × 27 cm (length × width × height), giving you the dimensions to check against your available storage space.
