The Dura side eye makes the float stronger than a standard side-eye design without altering its balance. It adds strength at the float's line attachment while retaining the intended balance for bite indication.
Maggots, casters, pellets and pieces of worm are supported. The size 16 GPM-B hook and 1.5 mm hollow bristle are suited to these small baits, so you can choose between them without changing the supplied hook.
It is intended for shallow pole fishing on commercial freshwater fisheries, particularly for F1 and carp. The bulk Stotz shotting provides positive bite indication for this presentation. The supplier also lists tench and roach, making it an option for small-bait freshwater fishing beyond carp alone.
You receive one complete pre-tied rig in the 4X12 version, not a standalone float. It includes Reflo Power main line and hooklength, Stotz shotting and a size 16 GPM-B hook, so these components do not need to be tied into a rig separately.

The Preston F1 Shallow Pole Rig is a complete pre-tied rig for shallow pole fishing on commercial freshwater fisheries. Its bulk shotting pattern with Stotz provides positive bite indication, while the 1.5 mm hollow bristle suits small baits. It is part of the Des Shipp Commercial carp rig range, based on rigs tied by Preston's consultants.
The float combines a carbon stem with a 1.5 mm hollow bristle. Its Dura side eye increases strength compared with a standard side eye without altering the float's balance, a useful feature when playing fish.
A size 16 GPM-B hook suits maggots, casters, pellets and pieces of worm, allowing several small-bait options with the same rig. The shallow setup is intended for F1 and carp fishing on commercial fisheries. The supplier also lists tench and roach as freshwater targets.
You receive one rig in the 4X12 version, with Reflo Power main line and hooklength, a float, Stotz in a bulk shotting pattern and a size 16 GPM-B hook. The float size is supplied as 4X12, not as a weight in grams.
The supplier warns that incorrectly discarded plastic can harm the environment. Recycle plastic materials according to local regulations.
