It is a coarse-fishing lead for long-range casting and strong winds. Its aerodynamic, weight-forward design is intended to improve accuracy compared with other lead styles, making casting distance and wind the main reasons to choose it.
The pack contains two leads weighing 45 g each. The 45 g designation is the weight of one lead, not the combined pack weight, so use that value when selecting your casting weight.
It has a large, oversized swivel as its attachment point. Check that the connection is secure before use to prevent the weight being lost.

The Preston Distance Bomb is a lead for coarse fishing at long range or in strong winds. Its aerodynamic, weight-forward design helps it cut through the wind and is designed to improve casting accuracy compared with other lead styles.
A large, oversized swivel provides the attachment point for your rig. Check that the weight is securely attached before use to prevent loss. The supplier lists five weights in the range: 7, 15, 20, 30 and 45 g. This version weighs 45 g per lead and comes in a pack of two. Its stated product dimensions are 3 cm long, 2 cm wide and 2 cm high.
These weights are not edible. Handle them carefully to avoid injury or damage to tackle, and do not leave them in the environment, where they can harm wildlife and cause pollution. Dispose of old or damaged weights responsibly under local recycling or hazardous waste guidelines.
