The Preston Absolute 5G Shallow Tray Unit is a shallow extension tray for all Preston Absolute 5G seat boxes. Designed for feeder fishing, its low profile gives reels and small tackle an organised place at your seat box, keeping frequently used equipment visible and within reach when changing tackle.
The unit integrates into the Absolute 5G system without tools or specialist knowledge, making it straightforward to add even for beginners. Compatibility is stated for all Absolute 5G seat boxes. Whether several tray units can be combined, and how many, depends on your seat box configuration, so check the system options for your setup before buying multiple units.
The shallow profile suits reels and compact accessories rather than items needing a deeper tray. It offers a more compact alternative to deeper trays, with an open overview of the tackle you use regularly.
The tray is intended for outdoor freshwater fishing, including feeder sessions for bream and roach on rivers or carp and tench on stillwaters. Its role is to organise equipment at the seat box, keeping it close at hand when you need to change your setup.
