The drill is designed for hard carp hookbaits such as boilies, nuts and pellets. Pre-drill the bait, then use a baiting needle to thread it onto the hair. The hole makes threading easier, rather than replacing the needle's role.
The wide handle makes the drill easy to handle when preparing hard hookbaits. It is blue and fluorescent, helping you find the tool quickly in the dark, which is useful when you need it again during a night session.
