Yes. The waterproof construction uses a continuous O-ring seal to keep moisture out in freshwater and saltwater use. It protects stored tackle from rain and spray when fishing from a boat, from the bank or while wading, including coastal sea trout fishing.
The box uses the standard 3700 format and measures 20.5 × 37.5 × 8.06 cm. It is compatible with common tackle storage systems, while the Deep version provides more depth than the regular box for bulkier tackle. Compare these dimensions with the available space in your system.
Yes. The dividers can be repositioned or removed using the configurable slots. This lets you separate jigs, plugs, softbaits and small accessories or create larger spaces for bigger lures, rather than working around a fixed layout.
Rinse it with clean freshwater, especially around the O-ring and closure. These parts provide the box's seal, so cleaning them after saltwater use helps maintain its sealing performance.

The Plano Waterproof StowAway 3700 Deep is a waterproof tackle box for predator fishing in freshwater and saltwater. A continuous O-ring seal keeps moisture out, protecting lures, hooks and small accessories during rain, spray and coastal fishing. It suits boat, bank and wading use, including jigging for perch and pike and coastal sea trout fishing on the Baltic.
The box measures 20.5 × 37.5 × 8.06 cm and uses the standard 3700 format for compatibility with common tackle storage systems. The Deep format offers more depth than the regular version for bulkier tackle. Configurable divider slots let you reposition or remove dividers to separate jigs, plugs, softbaits and small accessories, or make room for larger lures.
The single-closure system allows one-handed opening and closing. A transparent lid shows the contents without opening the box, helping you find the next lure. The large, reusable write-on area on the lid makes individual boxes easy to identify when you use several StowAway units together.
Rinse the box with clean freshwater after saltwater use, paying particular attention to the O-ring and closure to help maintain the seal.
