This surfcasting rod combines a slim carbon blank for long casts from the beach with a sensitive solid carbon tip for bite registration. Model 423 measures 4.20 m and has a 50–200 g casting rating, Fast action and Medium power.
The lightweight, high-modulus 24T/30T carbon blank uses carbon X-wrap reinforcement to reduce twisting and improve casting accuracy. Its solid carbon tip provides sensitive bite indication, combining casting power with the ability to see subtle takes.
Seven Fuji Stainless Steel O Lowrider-Type guides, including the tip guide, control the line. The guides and Uplocking DPS Type reel seat are saltwater-resistant. The full shrink-wrap handle has a Japanese X-Shrink Casting Grip for a secure hold during the cast.
