The PENN Tidal Africa is a sea fishing rod for casting large baits and heavy leads from the shore. Its powerful 30T Carbon blank is built for distance casting, with a 600–800 g casting rating for heavy surf setups.
Model 403 measures 4 m and combines Fast action with Extra Extra Heavy power. Six stainless steel K-type guides, including the tip, are saltwater-resistant and designed to reduce tangles during casting, including in windy conditions.
The full grip includes a durable Japanese X-Shrink casting grip for a secure hold when casting. A DPS Type reel seat holds the reel, and the butt has a metal gimbal with an EVA cap. The finish is Metallic Green.
The three-piece construction reduces the transport length to 144 cm. The rod is supplied in a cloth bag, so allow for that packed length when choosing storage or transport space.
