Yes. The 24T carbon blank is specifically designed for the direct response of braid during the fight. Model 841 has a 20-30lb line rating, which is the relevant line class rather than a casting-weight range.
The 2.54 m rod separates into two sections and has a transport length of 174 cm. A cloth bag is supplied, and any additional rod case needs to accommodate that transport length.
It combines saltwater-resistant components with a powerful 24T carbon blank designed for braid. Easy-to-clean EVA handles and a rubber butt bulb support handling, making this a boat rod for wreck and deep-water use rather than a dedicated surf rod.

The PENN Squadron III Boat Braid is a sea fishing rod for boat use, including wreck and deep-water fishing. Its slim, powerful high-modulus 24T carbon blank is designed to accommodate the direct response of braided line during the fight.
Model 841 is 2.54 m long, weighs 345 g and has Heavy power with a 20-30lb line rating. This is a line class, not a casting weight. The manufacturer separately lists a lure rating of 1/4 - 2 oz, approximately 7.09–56.7 g.
Saltwater-resistant components suit marine use. Ten LTS guides including the tip guide the line, while a DPS Type reel seat holds the reel. Ergonomically shaped, high-density EVA handles provide a comfortable grip and are easy to clean. A rubber butt bulb gives a cushioned contact point.
The two-piece rod has a transport length of 174 cm, so allow for that length when choosing a rod bag or storage space. It comes in Red/Black and is supplied in a cloth bag.
