The REGIMENT IV Uptide is a sea fishing rod designed for uptide fishing from a boat. Its short-butt/long-tip construction gives a smooth action, with enough tip flexibility to sit in the tide while showing small bites and slack-line bites. Under load, the fast but progressive action brings the middle and butt sections into play as the fish pulls harder.
High Modulus 30T Carbon and SLS3 blank construction combine a slim, low-weight blank with strength for playing fish. Ergonomic, high-density EVA handles form a full grip, with a rubber bulb at the butt end. The rod has a DPS Type reel seat.
Nine guides including the tip guide are specified as Seaguide Titanium TiXOG. The saltwater-proof SeaGuide guides suit the intended marine use.
