Their maximum jig weights are 180, 210 and 250 g, with rod weights of 219, 223 and 227 g respectively. Choose the jig rating you need, accepting a slightly heavier rod for the higher maximum weight. Length and section count stay the same.
Each 1.83 m rod separates into two sections for a 96 cm transport length. A cloth bag is supplied, so allow space for that packed length.

The PENN PREVAIL III Jigging SPIN sea fishing rods are designed for saltwater jigging with spinning reels. Their slim, responsive blanks combine 24T + 30T Carbon with Carbon X-Wrap technology, providing sensitivity for working a jig and strength for setting the hook and fighting fish.
The Japanese blank design has a Fast action. Seven guides including the tip guide use saltwater-resistant Fuji K-type frames with Fazlite rings to guide the line. A DPS reel seat holds the spinning reel, while the high-density EVA handle and EVA butt provide comfortable contact during repeated jigging movements.
All three versions are 1.83 m long and have two sections. The 180 g version weighs 219 g and is the lightest option. The 210 g version weighs 223 g and raises the maximum jig weight. The 250 g version weighs 227 g and accepts the heaviest jigs in the family. Choose by the maximum weight of jig you need, with a small increase in rod weight as the rating rises. The 180 g version is also described for cod, halibut and coalfish.
Each rod packs down to 96 cm and comes in a cloth bag. All versions have a Black/Pearl White finish.
