The Overseas XT II Inshore is a four-piece sea fishing rod for saltwater lure fishing, developed for sea bass and bluefish. Its responsive, fast-action blank supports accurate casting and lure control at distance, while a firm backbone supports hook-setting and control during the fight.
The high-modulus 24T + 30T Carbon blank uses X-wrap carbon technology. Nine Fuji Alconite guides, including the tip, guide the line, and a Fuji VSS reel seat holds the reel. The ergonomically shaped, high-density EVA handle provides a secure grip during long sessions and hard fights. The butt is also EVA. All versions are Marine Blue.
The 2.32 m version covers 8–32 g, has Medium power and weighs 181 g. It is the shortest and lightest choice for the lighter end of the range, with a 77 cm transport length.
The 2.5 m version covers 12–44 g, has Medium power and weighs 196 g. It adds length and a higher upper lure rating, with an 84 cm transport length.
The 2.7 m version covers 16–56 g, has Medium Heavy power and weighs 230 g. It offers the longest blank and highest lure rating, at the cost of more weight and a 90 cm transport length. This version is also described for coastal sea trout fishing. Choose the rating that covers your lures rather than length alone.
