Penn Fathom Electric 30 – Cordless Power for Offshore Fishing

The Fathom Electric 30 is the first integrated electric reel built on Penn's legendary Fathom II platform. With a replaceable lithium-ion battery pack, brushless motor, and digital line counter, it delivers hands-free retrieval and all-day power without cords or external plugs.

Fully Integrated Lithium-Ion Power

Unlike conventional electric reels tethered to boat batteries, the Fathom Electric 30 houses a 5AH lithium-ion battery inside the reel. IPX6-sealed motor and battery compartments protect against saltwater, while the 12V brushless motor delivers consistent torque across the full drag range. A variable speed knob lets you adjust retrieve rate on the fly, and a backup manual handle engages with one button press if you need to switch modes mid-fight.

Digital Line Counter with Autostop

The LED display shows a true digital line counter calibrated to your programmed line diameter. The autostop feature lets you set a target depth for hands-free retrieval—ideal for running chicken rigs, dropping baits to precise depths, or retrieving kite lines. An override function gives you instant manual control whenever needed. The line guide allows knots and swivels to pass smoothly, while the spool tension knob prevents overruns in freespool.
